A Little Secret from Rapi-
Letting Go
A Little Note from Rapi

October always makes me think about letting go.
Not just the obvious things, but the little things we carry without even realizing it — stress, old conversations, worries, expectations, and that constant feeling that we should be doing more.
Sometimes we carry so much mentally that our body starts carrying it too. Tight shoulders, clenched jaws, restless sleep, feeling drained for no obvious reason.
I’ve been thinking a lot about how important it is to create little moments where we can release some of that weight.
With every treatment, I try to put intention behind each touch — to calm, to comfort, to release tension, or simply to give you a little space to breathe.
I want this to feel like a safe, private space where you don’t have to perform, explain, or be anything for anyone else. You can simply be who you need to be in that moment.
I may not be able to take all of the heaviness away, but sometimes that’s how it starts — a little at a time. One breath, one quiet moment, one hour where you don’t have to carry everything.
And maybe, little by little, we can make space for something lighter.
Something to Remember
“Not everything needs to come with you into the next season.”
Rapi’s 60-Second Tip
A tiny physical release exercise:
Drop your shoulders. Unclench your jaw. Take one slow breath in, and make the exhale longer than the inhale.
Sometimes the body needs permission to let go too.
The Little Laugh
“Apparently ‘I’m fine’
is not a recognized relaxation technique.”

On My Shelf
DermActe Soothing Repairing Cream
When skin feels stressed, tight or more sensitive, sometimes the answer isn’t another active ingredient — it’s giving the skin a chance to calm and recover.
I like this one for helping support comfort, hydration and the skin barrier, especially as the weather gets cooler.
“When your barrier is irritated, I don't want to punish it with more actives. This is the 'calm down and rebuild' step.”
From the Treatment Room
When the Shoulders Finally Drop

One of my favourite moments during a treatment is when I can actually feel someone begin to let go.
The talking slows. The breathing changes. The shoulders soften.
Sometimes a client comes in for a facial, massage or Reiki session thinking they’re simply having a treatment, but what they really needed was an hour where nobody needed anything from them.
Those moments remind me that results aren’t always just something we see in the mirror.
Sometimes the result is simply feeling a little lighter when you leave than when you arrived.
Something I created from this feeling
The Letting Go Journal
I created the Letting Go Journal from this same idea — that sometimes we need somewhere to put the thoughts and feelings we’ve been carrying.
The process is simple:
Write it • Feel it • Release it • Repeat
It’s not about fixing everything at once.
It’s about creating a little space, one thought at a time.
The journal also includes guided meditations you can access through QR codes to support you before and after writing.
Your Little october Challenge
Choose one thing you’re ready to stop carrying quite so tightly.
Maybe it’s a worry.
A conversation you keep replaying.
An expectation.
Something that isn’t yours to fix.
Write it down if you need to.
Then ask yourself:
Do I still need to carry this today?

A GENTLE INVITATION
If you’ve been feeling heavy, mentally busy, or like you’re carrying more than usual, a Chakra Balancing session may be exactly the kind of pause you need.
A quiet, private hour to slow down, reconnect and simply be.
